Talon (THAAD's interceptor) has a production capacity of 8 per month or 96 per year. Actual procurement has been far below this already abysmally low production capacity due to lack of funding and orders from the Department of Defense. DoD wants to increase the actual production of this interceptor to around ~400 per year, or approximately 33 per month.
